There is a huge misconception about using an interior designer. People (including me, at first) assume that it will be too expensive, when in fact a designer may actually save you from making costly mistakes as well as saving you time. I mean, honestly, who has the time to search all the magazines and websites and stores for "ideas". Then what? The ideas that Sarah came up with were wonderful and spot on as far as the "look" Jamie and I wanted (the beautiful tile for the fireplace, changing the front doors, and my favorite piece, our coffee table, to name a few.)

We painted the walls and ceilings with the creamy color a few shades lighter than the wall that Sarah suggested. Everyone told me I was making a mistake, but it turned out great and the naysayers changed their opinions. I was like, Helloooo! Who is the professional here?

We will ask Sarah to help us in our new home, and have nothing but praise for Sarah's work. We never felt pressure to purchase anything, and we never felt like we were not being taken care of because we weren't a "big budget" customer. It was a pleasure working with you ladies! You can quote me on that too!!
