Interior Design Seminar Director
Mary's twenty-year interior design and speaking career includes
numerous local and national awards of design excellence. Most recently,
she was awarded two Golds at the 2004 National Seniors Housing Awards,
sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders. She has
also twice served as a judge for the prestigious National Seniors
Housing Awards. Since 2001, she has provided residential interior
design services in the Washington Metropolitan area, and is a teacher
and mentor to a number of area designers.
Recent speaking engagements include being a featured speaker at
the 2003 NAHB International Builders Show in Las Vegas, and, with
Sarah Fretwell, presented "Designing Interiors for Real Life;
Transforming the Ordinary to the Extraordinary" at the Smithsonian
in Washington, DC.
